Get Started with TestPod
Download TestPod on the computer you will use for testing, drag it to Applications, then open it and sign in.
Choose your computer
Start with the tab for your computer. On macOS, most people can download and drag the app normally. The copy-and-paste command is only for the moment macOS blocks TestPod after it is already in Applications.
macOS

Download the macOS installer.
Click Download for macOS. Your browser saves TestPod-Setup.dmg in the Downloads folder.

Open the downloaded file.
Open your Downloads folder and double-click TestPod-Setup.dmg.

Drag TestPod into Applications.
In the window that opens, drag the TestPod app onto the Applications folder.

Open TestPod from Applications.
Open Applications, then double-click TestPod.

If macOS blocks TestPod, run this one fix.
Press ⌘ + Space, type Terminal, then press Return. Copy the line below, paste it into Terminal, then press Return again.

Sign in with your TestPod account.
Use the email and password from your TestPod signup. The computer is linked to your account after sign-in.
When the TestPod main screen opens, setup is complete.
Windows

Download the Windows installer.
Click Download for Windows. Your browser saves TestPod-Setup.exe in the Downloads folder.

If the browser blocks the download, keep it.
Open Downloads in your browser, click ... next to TestPod-Setup.exe, then choose Keep. If asked again, choose Show more, then Keep anyway.

Open the downloaded file.
Open your Downloads folder and double-click TestPod-Setup.exe.

If Windows shows a warning, allow the installer.
Click More info, then Run anyway. This may appear because the installer was downloaded from the internet.

Sign in with your TestPod account.
Use the email and password from your TestPod signup. The computer is linked to your account after sign-in.
When the TestPod main screen opens, setup is complete.
Ubuntu / Linux

Contact HiTek support.
Tell us the computer is Ubuntu/Linux and send the station name you want to use.

Install the package we send.
HiTek will guide you through the exact package for your machine.

A short setup video will go here. It should show the exact macOS flow: download the DMG, open it, drag TestPod to Applications, open TestPod, then run the fix only if macOS blocks the app.
